Ground War Open Beta Tips on U4GM for Modern Warfare 4

Ground War in the Open Beta asks you to play with a wider view. It is not simply a larger 6v6 match. Maps such as Combat Outpost, Imjin Farmland, and Wolves Stadium give vehicles more room to move, while Outposts create another reason to leave cover and take a chance. If you are using MW4 Boosting to prepare for the weekend, do not focus only on aim drills. You will get more value from learning how to read a busy battlefield.

Start by Reading the Map

Your first few matches should be about orientation. Pick a familiar route and follow it for a while. Notice where infantry squads tend to gather, which roads vehicles use, and which buildings give a clear view of nearby objectives. Combat Outpost may reward players who understand its open approaches, while Imjin Farmland can make long sightlines feel especially important. You do not need every detail straight away. A rough sense of the main lanes is enough to stop you wandering into danger every thirty seconds.

Vehicles Change the Pace

A vehicle can break a defensive line, force players out of a position, or create a sudden opening for a squad push. That does not mean you should spend the whole match chasing one. Keep an eye on the minimap and listen for engine noise. If armour is moving toward your area, decide whether your team has a useful answer or whether it is smarter to rotate. Infantry players should carry equipment that helps them survive those moments, but they should still have a reliable option for ordinary gunfights.

When an Outpost Appears

Outposts add a decision that is easy to get wrong. The reward may be useful, yet the location can pull several teams into the same fight. Before moving in, check your squad's position and numbers. Are teammates close enough to help? Is the route exposed? Has an enemy vehicle already taken control of the area? Sometimes the right call is to wait, watch the first clash, and move when both sides have lost players. Patience can matter more than being first through the doorway.

Build for the Weekend

Loadouts made for cramped 6v6 rooms may feel limited here. Try a weapon that can handle medium distance, then pair it with equipment for clearing cover or slowing a push. After two or three matches, you will probably notice which role suits you. Some players enjoy moving with armour and supporting captures. Others would rather hold a lane, protect a squad, and punish careless rotations. Both styles work. Keep changing small parts of your setup instead of rebuilding everything after one bad match, and use cheap CoD MW4 Boosting only if it fits the way you want to spend your beta weekend.
